FIRST WEDNESDAY ON CEDAR SPRINGS - 6:00 - 9:00 pm. July
edition of First Wednesday with a 'July 4th' - Red, White
and Blue themed celebration on Cedar Springs. Shop the
street's merchants for special bargains, wine tasting, hot
models and more. Enjoy a refreshing cocktail at one of the
neighborhood bars. Or, drop by the Spectrum Motorcycle
Riding Club's spot at TMC for Hamburgers and Hot Dogs from
the grill on the front patio with proceeds benefiting the
Sam Houston Elementary Secret Santa Project.

GAYTONA 500 - Noon-5pm. The GAYTONA 500 is a
one-of-a-kind summer event that combines remote controlled
car races, community barbecue, and live entertainment
together to raise funds for Youth First Texas. Celebrity
Chef Blythe Beck, star of the soon-to-air The Naughty
Kitchen on Oxygen Network as well as executive chef of
Central 214 at the Hotel Palomar is providing food for the
event. (the parking lot behind JR’s).
